    MORON!! i hope you fried your powerhead doing that. Nothing about that impeller was good before or after. Never touch an outboard, muchless anything mechanical ever again!

    Too bad your video proved nothing other than your stupidity or complete lack of knowledge about outboard motors. Your impeller was shot before you began that “demonstration”. Not only do the tips of the impeller need to be flexible, but the entire arm of the impeller has to be flexible. Yours has already taken a curve, which indicates it’s already worn out and worthless.

    If you’d bothered to look at the water pump housing, you’d notice the hole is offset, requiring completely flexible arms.

    thats called cavitation dude. Pumps are really good at moving liquid, but you’ll break them in a hurry trying to move vapor.

    Its funny after I took my jetski out of the water out of the water I run the motor to get the water out the exhaust then out from the middle of nowhere an old man yells at me saying are you retarded you’ll burn out the water pump!!

    If the fins are bent when you remove it from the pump housing its time for a new impeller

    just after changing the water pump and upper housing and put it back together again, only now when its in neutral its in first gear and the water pump is not working. before putting it back together i tried the water pump out using a batt drill to turn the drive bar, and water pump out of the tube from the upper housing, so i know thats not the problem any help please want to take the boat out in 2 days
