Here’s a Honda produced video showing the new BF-40 and BF-50 EFI motors. Here’s what Honda has to say:

These Honda outboard motors are among the lightest and most powerful available today.

115 hp Mercury Outboard Cold Start

Here’s a video of a guy starting up his 115hp Mercury outboard after sitting for 3 weeks. It’s on a Procraft bass boat. He writes; “It’s a runner for sure. There are some other differences with the block exhaust porting in the 115+ inlines. Same rotating assembly. Merc says the 5000rpm is the max rpm for this motor, but I hear that people prop ‘em to 6000-6250 like the 115+ motors. ”
